("Homeworkhelp.com") has created this privacy policy (the “Policy”) to explain our privacy practices so you will understand when and how personal information is collected, used, disclosed and protected with respect to members of the Homeworkhelp.com, located at www.homeworkhelp.com (the “System”).

By visiting Homeworkhelp.com, joining AccuLive Tutoring Club, or using the System, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy, as modified from time to time by us. Therefore, you should carefully review this policy so you understand our data privacy practices.


We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time. If our privacy practices change we will post the revised Policy to AccuLive and notify you by indicating the date that this Policy was last updated. We encourage you to check this Policy for information about revisions to our privacy policy.


We collect two basic types of information. Personal information is information that is directly associated with a specific person or entity such as a member’s name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, or information about activities or prior experiences that is directly linked to that person.

Our definition of personal information does not include “aggregate” information. Aggregate information is data we collect about a group or category of services or user from which individual user identities have been removed. Aggregate data may include anonymous demographic information such as country of origin, citizenship, ZIP code, age, gender, preferences and survey information. In other words, how you use Homeworkhelp.com may be collected and combined with information about how others use Homeworkhelp.com, but no personal information will be included in the resulting data. Aggregate data helps us understand trends and our user's needs so that we can better consider new features or otherwise tailor our Site. When children under age 13 attempt to sign up with Homeworkhelp.com, we have a four-step process in compliance with COPPA (the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and enforced by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).

1. When prospective members click to sign-up, they must enter their age.
2. If the prospective member checks under the age of 13, he or she is directed to an explanation of COPPA and a downloadable parental permission form before any personal information is requested. Prospective members age 13-17 cannot enter personal information without certifying that they have a parent's permission.

4. Once we've received the consent form and have verified permission via a phone call to the parent, we'll authorize Homeworkhelp.com membership for the child.
H4 Digital, Inc. does not share personal information about users under the age of 13 with third parties, and we do not sell or rent personal information about any of our users, regardless of age, without their consent. In addition, H4 Digital, Inc. will not send any direct email offers to users who indicate they are under the age of 13.


Information You Give Us.

We collect information you give us when you visit Homeworkhelp.com, or use the Homeworkhelp.com System, and provide information to us. Examples include the following:

  • Contact, Registration, and Transaction Information: Homeworkhelp.com’s registration form requests parents' contact information (like their name and email address), financial information (like account or credit card numbers), and demographic information (like their zip code, age, or income level). may also provide users the ability to purchase products and services. Homeworkhelp.com’s order form allows members to request information, products, and services. We collect purchaser's contact information (like their name and email address), financial information (like their account or credit card numbers), and demographic information (like their zip code, age, or income level).
    If you are a tutor, we request more extensive information, such educational history and employment history, for use in your application for membership, and for creating your profile. All information you provide is provided to us at your initiative.
    All members may decline to share information with us by not registering with Homeworkhelp.com.
  • Submissions and Customer Service: From time-to-time we may post surveys, contests or sweepstakes on , which may request demographic information and member information. Participation in these requests is completely voluntary. Also, we may collect information that identifies you personally when you send us comments, questions or suggestions.

    For contests, we may ask for mailing addresses and e-mail addresses in order to send prizes to winners or to clarify information about contest submissions (such as notifying a user that his or her submission was not fully transmitted, and asking the user to send it again). Children under 18 years of age must have the consent of their parent or legal guardian to provide online or offline contact information on contests or surveys. This contact information is used for purposes of the contest or survey only. Contestants are only identified online by their first name and first initial of their last name. Children under 18 years of age must also have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to receive any prizes that they may win in contests.

  • Tutoring Feedback Forms: Our online feedback forms collect user information for the sole purpose of evaluating tutor performance, or submitting comments and suggestions about Homeworkhelp.com. Information contained in these feedback forms may be posted online, but will not identify any member personally.
  • Automatically Collected Information. We automatically receive certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, when you visit Homeworkhelp.com or use the Homeworkhelp.com System, our systems may automatically collect information such as your IP address, the type of browser you use, your computer's operating system, the address of a referring web site, and the time and date of your visit.
  • Cookies: Cookies are small text files placed on your hard drive by a web site when you visit.   • Monitoring and Recording of Tutoring Sessions: We monitor and record all tutoring sessions on the Homeworkhelp.com System, and store and maintain all information or content disclosed by students and tutors on the Homeworkhelp.com System for future Homeworkhelp.com purposes, including evaluation of tutors' performance, future course content and evaluation, and investigation of student complaints. We strongly encourage you to exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information in any tutoring session. If we use, post or disclose any information collected from these tutoring sessions for any such purposes, we will only use such information in accordance with this Policy and will not identify any member personally, except as allowed pursuant to this Policy.


Internal Use of Personal Information.

In general, we use personal information internally to serve our users and enable them to join Homeworkhelp.com and use the Homeworkhelp.com System. By filling out a contact form or registering at Homeworkhelp.com, you give consent for us to contact you via email, and other methods of contact as provided to us, to enable us to provide communications or Homeworkhelp.com services to you. For example, we use personal information to provide services or complete transactions you have requested, to respond to customer support inquiries, to anticipate and resolve problems with Homeworkhelp.com, and to create and inform you of new services from Homeworkhelp.com that better meets your needs.

We use user contact information from the registration form to send the user information about Homeworkhelp.com and promotional material. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services. Contact information from the order form is used to send orders, information about Homeworkhelp.com, and promotional material to our customers.
